Combefest 2011 - Shaldon Devon

In August 2011, Red Eye Productions was approached by the team of Combefest to provide a full solution for their festival.
Under the leadership of production manager Jon Matanlé from Red Eye Productions our team worked along side Combefest from the office to the site.
The Red Eye Productions core team consisted of a site manager, sound engineer, lighting technician and site electrician.
The event was created by a group of friends from the nearby village of Combeinteignhead. The event had run previously in 2007 with the staging, lighting and sound being borrowed from friends with favours called upon.
In August 2011 we were approached by the team who were looking for a more professional look and feel to their event.

Working with the budget given we were able to accurately quote for a full staging, lighting and sound package. We also provided site lighting for the end of the event day using a VT1 portable lighting tower.
Once the lineup of bands was set, we provided each of the artists with a copy of our technical specifications form, which enabled us to be fully prepared for all the bands upon their arrival, making the fifteen minute change overs run smoothly.
We engineered both the sound and lighting for each band, working with them to achieve the sound and look they wanted.
Artists were: Bill Bakers Blues Band | Jack and Tom Woodward | Mad Dog McCrea | Alex Hart | Tara Matthew | Kirkwood Brown | Sound of the Sirens | These Reigning Days
A full list of services we provided:
- Site power distribution.
- Generator hire/management.

- PA system for 500 people with 6 on stage monitor mixes.
- Stage lighting system with moving heads and LED fixtures.
